                  About Me

               My name is Lucas Gumbiner. I started into the world of knife making in 2017 at the age of 17, when my parents decided I needed a hobby. As a joke, I asked them to buy me a forge, and to my surprise they said yes. After that I spent hundreds of hours researching and asked thousands of questions in order to learn the various tools and techniques required in knifemaking.

               Now in the years I've been making knives, my focus has been mainly on Japanese style culinary knives, and their many forms. However I have also adopted many other styles, such as hunting/bushcraft knives, cutlery, EDC and even a Sword! With my most recent challenge and passion being high end Folding knives, Which have really captivated me and have driven me to knew hights and skills.
